THE LOCOMOTIVE CONSIST ADAPTOR (LCA)

Adapts locomotive control within any consist for one or more of the following:

  • Control voltage matching Electric over Pneumatic & visa versa propulsion control.

  • Dynamic Brake (electronic/electric rheostat to hydraulic or other) & visa versa Air Brake matching.

Compatable with ADE's portable remote control equipment. The Locomotive Consist Adaptor is a portable device and manageable by an individual. The freedom to move and use it on any locomotive, makes it an essential piece of equipment in a railroad requiring to overcome operating limitations associated with locomotives having dissimilar control systems.
